ASSISTANTS
SERVICE
Our Passenger Assistant Service, in partnership with our sister company Legacy, offers comprehensive training and ongoing self-employment opportunities for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in their community.
Families with children or young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) may be eligible for school transport support funded by the Local Authority.
We regularly recruit and train new Passenger Assistants to accompany and support these students on their journeys to and from school or other educational settings. Each assistant provides the appropriate level of care and supervision based on the individual needs of the child.

What is the Role?

Escort students whilst they are being transported to and from school (no driving involved).

Ensure the safety of the child/ren that are part of your route.

Employed on a self-employment basis, term time only, although some ongoing training may be delivered outside of term time.

Required hours will be 10 or 15 hours p/week and will link to individual school drop off and pick up times.

Immediate start for most PA’s post training.
Course Information.

A 5 day training programme which fully equips delegates to move into the PA role with confidence

DBS checks are paid for by CE3
-
Delegates will also complete a Level 1 in Safeguarding in Educational & Childcare Settings

Ongoing support and further professional development is offered to working PAs
