Our Passenger Assistant Service provides training and a self employment opportunity for individuals on an ongoing basis. We regularly recruit new cohorts of Passenger Assistants who go on to support young people whilst travelling to and from their school or education setting.

 

Families with young people and children living with special educational needs and disabilities have the option to apply for support  for their children to be transported to and from school via the Local Authority’s budget.

The Local Authority offers transport services to those in education up to the age of 25. The needs of individuals vary and Passenger Assistants are trained to work at different levels of support.
