AIM PROJECTS
Upon completion of the 5 day AIM programme, participants have a project to undertake. With the task of creating some form of advert with a focus on mental health and social media, the individuals work as teams to project manage, take on responsibilities and liaise with CE3's Communications Manager, Jade, to create their final piece. Below you will find the completed projects along with feedback. All of our delegates should be very proud of themselves and the progress they have made and we wish you all the best moving forward.
EMMA & LAUREN
Emma and Lauren decided they wanted to focus on the Health and Wellbeing on Social Media, focusing on the positives and negatives of using social media to keep users mindful of how they spend their time online.
The video would be used across multiple social media channels.
PROGRAMME LEAD'S FEEDBACK:

"This was such a creative piece with excellent visuals and ideas and great use of resources. The wording was excellent and conscientiously written to give a strong clear message to children" - Nicky
BETH, MOLLY & PAIGE
This group wanted to create an info graph style poster with a target audience of 7-14 year olds. Using familiar characters from Fortnite to get their message across about how to stay safe online and how to identify a cyberbully.
The poster would be seen in schools.
PROGRAMME LEAD'S FEEDBACK:

"This was a perfect example of Team work. All contributing excellent ideas and researching the brand. Hard work paid off with a brilliant advert for children that would look excellent in any school!" - Nicky
DAISY, JESS & ZOE
The three ladies in this group decided to take the route of how filters used on social media and pressure to wear makeup at a young age, can make children grow up too quickly.
They considered a colour scheme that would keep the target audience’s attention and ended the video with a positive message.
PROGRAMME LEAD'S FEEDBACK:

"This is such an important advert for all young girls to see. Brilliant and very relevant ideas. Very creative and beautifully put together with great info, visuals, colours and music!" - Nicky
EDDIE & TAYLOR
Eddie and Taylor wanted to create a message to be seen on Instagram stories. The aim of their project was to inform the viewer of the signs of a cyberbullying, so in the future, they would be able to identify a cyberbully before it gets out of hand. They also decided to connect with children’s charity NSPCC and provide links with further info on identifying a cyberbully.
PROGRAMME LEAD'S FEEDBACK:

"This team worked hard together to find the right words to get the important message across about the importance of looking after your mental health and raising awareness of online bullies. They worked as a team and created something to be very proud of." - Nicky
JACK & JON PAUL
This group’s focus was on online trolls and how you can avoid becoming one.

Using eye catching imagery, styling the video to look like a WhatsApp message and using music from a current musician would keep their target audiences attention. They also decided to link with MIND charity as a CTA.
PROGRAMME LEAD'S FEEDBACK:

"The team wanted to make sure the message was out there that people can be different behind the screen and it doesn't get you anywhere in life - highlighting the importance of kindness and difference it can make. I think they did this really well and love
the music choice to go with" - Nicky
MAEVE
Maeve wanted to use the brand HEADSPACE as the focus on this ad. With the message that getting away from the screen and taking some time for yourself is important for your mental health.
The ad would be targeted a a broad age range of people so Maeve chose a wrap around bus advert would be a great way for the message to be seen by many.
PROGRAMME LEAD'S FEEDBACK:

"This brilliant design is relevant to all ages and so important for people to consider currently so Maeve’s idea to create something physical and large scale was perfect. The link to Mind and design style was both thoughtful and effective. Maeve worked so well independently and had lots of amazing ideas with a purpose of getting a strong but concise message across." - Nicky
